Bêla Suchá Artist
“Mike Abrahams is a master in making
difficult design solutions look simple.
Without his enthusiasm, creativity and
ability to transcendent time and language
this monograph of the Czech artist
Bêla Suchá, my sister, would have never
happened.”
Zdenka Beck-Bauer

Young & Foodish Pop-up restaurants
“Young & Foodish pop-up events feed
the obsessions of people with a passion
for food. I wanted a fixed logo but
Abrahams created a pop-up logo that
animates the brand in one-off group
performances – genius.”

Daniel, the Young behind Young & Foodish
Burger Monday, Pizza Tuesday, Spaghetti
Wednesday, Wich Thursday, Fry Friday and
Coffee Saturday, every time with a different
chef. The events often happen in 'greasy
spoons' so we designed paper table mats
each printed with a letter from the Young &
Foodish name (in a font called Frankfurter).
We were delighted to see what happened.

Winged Lion CD series
“…the most eye-catchingly shiny cover
I think I have ever seen, shimmering away
here in front of me…”
Andrew McGregor, BBC Radio 3
CD Review Disc of the Week, October 2011
Classical music CDs are so predictable,
reflecting the repertoire and quality of most
performances. The design of Paul McCreesh’s
Winged Lion albums is not what's expected,
matching McCreesh's acclaimed and
challenging recordings – from large-scale
oratorio to intimate a cappella programmes.

Mapology Guides for life's journey
Mapology Guides are maps – but not as
we know them. They encourage people to
explore questions of everyday life in a fun,
humorous and educational way. Text light,
illustration heavy yet content rich, they are
designed to appeal to our soundbite culture.

Wentworth Club Course guides
We worked with Wentworth for almost
20 years developing a deep understanding
of the market, the client and their audiences.
All design was based on a long-term strategy
rather short-term tactics. An example of this
is our bespoke designed 'golf ball dimpled'
card used across all Proshop material, from
packaging to course guides – exclusive,
elegant, cost effective and a totally unique
and an appropriate product.

Shouldn't we all be developers? Roger Zogolovitch
Shouldn’t we all be developers? articulates
Zogolovitch's vision for recognition of the
role that independent developers can play
in increasing the supply of new homes.
Design is straight-forward when you really
understand your client's business – because
you are a director – a way of sharing the
risks and rewards associated with valuing
the effectiveness of design.

Alpha Bank Credit card
We believe that this was the first
transparent credit card made. Sadly, it
remained a prototype for one simple
reason – the sensor positions in ATMs
vary and are secret to fight fraud. But it's
so rewarding working with a client
prepared to invest in research trying to
do something new and interesting which
aligns with their brand values.

Ingrid Moore Therapist
Ingrid Moore has been practicing as a
cranial osteopath/healer for more than 35
years. Her treatment is gentle yet powerful,
stimulating the body’s own innate healing
ability. After his first sessions with Ingrid,
Mike Abrahams felt that there was much
more to it than meets the eye, which led
to the design of her graphic identity.

Solidspace Manifesto
We asked “why aren’t there brands in
housing?". As part of the collaboration
between Solidspace and Abrahams (begun
in 2003), we suggested and then designed
the manifesto for the business written and
illustrated by Roger Zogolovitch.
Development as Art* is the guiding
principle for everything Solidspace does.
